Hello! My name is Marie-Therese and I am a psychologist​/​sexologist from Austria​,​ living in beautiful Athens. In our sessions your sexuality may not be the main focus​,​ but both our mental and physical health have a huge impact on our sex lives​,​ for better or for worse. Therefore​,​ in addition to your general mental and physical health​,​ I will also assess your sexual history​,​ your past and present relationships​,​ your cultural background and the way you have been shaped as a sexual being in all of this. Once I have a better picture of your circumstances​,​ we can develop a treatment plan and work on the factors that may be causing your problem. I will do my best to make you feel comfortable and safe with me. As a sexologist​,​ I am sex-positive and non-judgmental by nature. I work with people of all gender and sexual identities and with people who are engaged in different types of relationships. I am a so-called kink-aware therapist who has no preconceptions about what the ideal form of sexuality should look like. As long as no one gets hurt and it's fun​,​ I think it's a healthy and life-enriching thing to do. It should be as simple as that.
